Elen, a former contestant, opens up about her overwhelming paranoia during her time on The Traitors, leading to her early exit from the show
Cardiff: So, Elen, one of the contestants from The Traitors, has been pretty open about her experience on the show. She admitted that her paranoia really got the best of her. It spiraled out of control, and she ended up feeling super emotional.
During the show, she was voted out because her fellow contestants thought her reactions were too intense. Elen, who’s just 24 and works as a translator, was really upset when she was sent home. She even said she didn’t watch the episode because it was too much for her.
She thought she’d be picked as a Traitor, but when that didn’t happen, her mind started racing. Elen felt like she was constantly worrying about what everyone else was thinking. It was tough for her to keep her cool and show she wasn’t a Traitor.
Looking back, she realized she was overthinking everything. She felt like she could sense the tension in the room, and that just made her more anxious. It’s wild how one little suspicion can blow up in that game.
Even though she got voted out, Elen did manage to vote for a Traitor correctly. Before leaving, she declared, “I am a Faithful.” She’s grateful for the experience, even if it was short-lived.
When asked if she’d change anything, she said she wished she had prepared better for both being a Traitor and a Faithful. She regrets not being clearer about who she thought the Traitors were, especially since she was right!
The show continues to air, and it’s definitely got everyone talking!
