They chose this whisky carefully from Edinburgh Whisky’s warehouse stock. It was bottled from a single cask at its natural strength of 56.5% abv. The whisky was un-chill filtered, and its color comes naturally from the cask.
Edinburgh’s One O’Clock Gun is famous, having been fired daily at 1 p.m. since 1861. The whisky celebrates this tradition, offering a unique tribute to Edinburgh’s history.
Gleann Mór Spirits Company worked with HES to bring this cask strength whisky to stores. The One O’Clock Gun inspired this collaboration, reflecting the good working relationship between Edinburgh Whisky and Edinburgh Castle.
