An 18-year-old in Edinburgh was left shaken after a driver punched her windscreen in a road rage incident
Edinburgh: An 18-year-old girl had a terrifying experience recently. A man allegedly punched her windscreen in a fit of rage, leaving her very scared.
This all went down in Morningside on a Sunday night. The young driver had just passed her test and was feeling pretty nervous already. She was left shaken and confused after the whole ordeal.
So, here’s what happened. She was pulling out of Cluny Avenue onto Morningside Road when a guy behind her started honking like crazy. Totally confused, she thought it best to pull over and let him pass.
But as she turned onto Maxwell Street, the guy zoomed past her and blocked her from moving. He jumped out of his car and started yelling at her through the window. Can you imagine how scary that must have been?
Just when she thought he was leaving, he turned back and punched her windscreen, shattering it completely. She said it left her feeling very scared and unsure of what to do next.
Police Scotland confirmed they got a report about the vandalism around 8 PM that night and are still looking into it. Hopefully, they catch this guy soon.
