A reckless Edinburgh motorist filmed himself speeding through a 20mph zone, reaching 82mph, raising serious safety concerns in the area.
Edinburgh: A wild video has popped up online showing a driver going way too fast in a busy area. The guy was zipping through parked cars and oncoming traffic, hitting 82mph!
This crazy scene was filmed on Saughton Road North, near Carrick Knowe. The Honda driver really stepped on it as he zoomed past Union Park.
He even took a turn onto Stenhouse Drive at about 32mph, which is just nuts. In the video, you can see him overtaking cars by driving on the wrong side of the road. Talk about risky!
Now, Saughton Road North has a 20mph speed limit, and the signs are pretty clear. It’s not clear when this video was shot, but it was shared by an Instagram account called ‘HoodStigs’ that focuses on dangerous driving.
They think the driver is in a Honda Civic, and they posted the video just a couple of days ago. So far, it’s racked up nearly 5,000 reactions and around 150 comments. People are definitely talking about it!
