Tranent: Wow, you won’t believe what just happened! A car crashed right into the side of the Post Office. It was quite a sight!

This all went down around 11:30 AM on a Thursday. The front of the car looked pretty wrecked, and you could see liquid spilling out onto the pavement. People were just standing there, shocked.

The airbags in the car had gone off, but we still don’t know how much damage was done to the Post Office itself. It’s a bit of a mess.

There was also a barrier along Church Street that got totally smashed up. One of the poles was sticking up right in front of the back door of the car. Talk about a scene!

Drivers trying to get through Church Street towards the High Street are facing some delays. Locals are being told to steer clear of the area for now.

According to a spokesperson from Police Scotland, emergency services are on the scene. They mentioned that Church Street is partially closed, but public transport can still get through.

So, if you’re in the area, it might be best to avoid it until things get sorted out!
