A man was brutally attacked by two drunken individuals in Byker, leaving him shaken and injured
Byker: So, there was this really scary incident where two drunk guys just attacked a man for no reason. It happened late at night when he was walking home after grabbing some fast food.
The victim was just minding his own business when these two, Dean Graham and Armindo Silva, started bothering him. Silva asked him who he was and where he was going, which made the guy feel uneasy. Then, out of nowhere, Graham jumped on his back, and they both ended up on the ground.
Things got really ugly. Silva started punching and kicking the guy while he was down, even choking him. It was a brutal scene until someone from the public stepped in to help. But get this—before leaving, the attackers actually took the victim’s coat and phone!
When the police arrived, they initially thought Graham and Silva were the victims because they had some injuries. But after checking the CCTV, it was clear they were the ones who started the whole mess. Silva was even caught on camera wearing the victim’s coat later on.
The poor guy ended up with bruises all over and felt really shaken up after the attack. The judge was pretty harsh on Graham and Silva, saying they scared the life out of him. They were both drunk and high on cocaine, which didn’t help their case.
In the end, Graham got 32 months in jail, and Silva got 29 months. They both had previous convictions, and it seems like they just made a terrible choice that night. Graham even had a job lined up, but it all went downhill because of this mindless violence.
