Swansea: So, there’s this guy, Jason Carmichael, who’s been dealing drugs and is now in prison waiting for his sentence. He’s 36 and apparently has found religion while behind bars. Crazy, right?

He got caught with a stash of cocaine, ketamine, and cannabis, plus a bunch of cash. The police raided his place early one morning and found all this stuff in his bedroom. They even found some motorbikes there!

Jason has a pretty long rap sheet, with 20 previous convictions. He’s been in trouble for drug offenses before, but it seems like nothing really stopped him from getting back into it. He even had a suspended sentence before this latest bust.

His lawyer mentioned that he’s trying to fix things with his ex and their kid, and he regrets getting into drug dealing. Apparently, he’s been focusing on his faith while in prison, which he says is important to him now.

The judge wasn’t too impressed with Jason’s history and gave him a 40-month sentence. He’ll serve half of that in prison and then be released on license. Let’s hope he really sticks to his newfound faith this time!
