Aberaeron: This winter, if you’re eligible for the flu and Covid vaccines, it’s time to roll up your sleeves. Hywel Dda University Health Board is making it super easy for folks in west Wales.

They’ve set up drop-in vaccination centres in Aberaeron, Llanelli, and Neyland. You can swing by on December 23, 24, and 27, from 9:15 AM to 5:30 PM. No appointment needed!

These vaccines are especially important for young kids, older adults, and those with health issues. Sometimes, these viruses can lead to serious problems, even hospital stays.

Kids aged two to year 11 can get the nasal flu vaccine, which is a breeze. The full list of who can get the flu shot includes young kids, older adults, pregnant women, and even frontline health workers.

For the Covid vaccine, if you’re six months to 64 years old with a long-term health condition, or if you’re a carer, you can get vaccinated too. It’s all about keeping everyone safe.

If you have questions about getting the vaccines, just call the health board at 0300 303 8322 or shoot them an email at ask.hdd@wales.nhs.uk. They’re there to help!

And if you’re unsure whether you qualify for the vaccines, don’t hesitate to reach out to them using the same contact info.

The vaccination centres are easy to find: Aberaeron Integrated Care Centre, Dafen Industrial Estate in Llanelli, and Unit 1 Honeyborough Retail Park in Neyland. So, no excuses—get vaccinated!
