London: So, there’s been a pretty shocking incident in a London prison. Urfan Sharif, the father of Sara Sharif, was attacked by a double murderer. Can you believe that? The guy used a tuna can lid as a weapon!

Apparently, this all went down in HMP Belmarsh on New Year’s Day. Urfan, who’s already serving a hefty sentence for his daughter’s tragic death, was ambushed by two inmates. One of them is Steve Sansom, a 46-year-old who has a pretty dark past himself.

Sansom has admitted to murdering and dismembering a woman named Sarah Mayhew last year. He’s also got a murder charge from way back in 1999 for killing a cab driver. So, yeah, not exactly a nice guy.

According to reports, Sansom and another inmate cornered Urfan as he was heading back to his cell after a shower. They forced him into a cell and slashed him with that tuna can lid. It’s wild how brutal things can get in there.

Urfan ended up with some cuts on his face and neck, but thankfully, he didn’t need to go to the hospital. Sources say he was targeted because of the pain he caused Sara over the years. It’s a pretty intense situation, and everyone seems to be talking about it.

Both Urfan and Sara’s stepmother, Beinash Batool, got life sentences last December. Sara’s uncle also got time for his role in her tragic story. The judge really laid it out, saying it was like torture what they did to her.

Now, the Prison Service has said that the police are looking into this whole attack. It’s just a reminder of how rough things can be behind bars.
