North Shields: So, DJ Schak was totally taken aback when the police wanted to chat with him about a stolen parrot. Can you believe it?

The guy, whose real name is Shakeil Luciano, jumped on social media to share his surprise. He couldn’t wrap his head around why the police were interested in him over a missing bird.

It all started when he posted a video of his buddy’s parrot dancing to his set at Creamfields. That clip blew up online, and somehow, people thought it was the same parrot that went missing back in August.

After the police reached out, Schak took to TikTok and Instagram to clear things up. He kept it light and funny, and his video racked up over 275,000 views. Talk about going viral!

He mentioned, “I’m not mad at the person who called the cops. They’re probably just upset about their missing bird. But I was shocked when the police came knocking.”

Schak quickly told the officers he had nothing to do with the theft. He found it wild that they showed up at his door for something he didn’t even do. But he felt for the person who lost their parrot.

“If I had really stolen the parrot, why would I post it everywhere? It’s such a bizarre situation, but I’m glad it got sorted out fast,” he added.

Northumbria Police later confirmed that the case is closed since there’s no new info. They said it would only reopen if something else came up.
