A family faced a nightmare at Gatwick Airport when their luggage was stolen just before their flight
London: So, here’s the scoop. Surrey Police are on the hunt for a guy who might know something about some stolen luggage at Gatwick Airport. They’ve even put out some CCTV images of him.
This all went down on December 12, right in the check-in area A of the South Terminal. A family was all set for a long flight when their bags went missing. Can you imagine? They had some pricey stuff in there, like Apple gadgets, laptops, and even scuba gear!
Apparently, the thief hopped on a bus to Crawley and tried to use the stolen bank cards nearby. The police are really keen to find this guy. They described him as being in his 30s, with a beard, wearing a dark blue jacket and a baseball cap.
Inspector Mark Robinson mentioned how distressing this was for the family, especially with the holidays coming up. If anyone has a clue about who this guy is, they’re urging you to step forward and help out.
