The family of Richard Locker, missing for over a year, pleads for information on his whereabouts as they continue their search for answers
Paignton: It’s been over a year since Richard Locker went missing, and his family is still searching for answers. The police are asking anyone with information to come forward. Richard’s loved ones are feeling the weight of uncertainty and just want to know what happened to him.
He was last seen at his home on January 4, 2024, around 2 PM. After leaving, his car was found the next day in Torquay. It’s a tough situation, and his family is desperate for any clues.
Richard is a white male, about 5ft 8ins tall, with a slim build and short, grey hair. He often walks with his hands in his pockets, which is something his family remembers well.
On the day he disappeared, he might have been wearing a navy fleece and a chequered shirt. But with so much time passed, he could be in different clothes now. One thing that stands out is his tattoo on his right shoulder that says ‘Easy Tiger’.
His family, especially his step-daughter Nicola and her mum Sharon, are determined to keep searching. They believe there are answers out there waiting to be found. They’ve been knocking on doors and checking for any security footage, but so far, nothing has turned up.
Nicola shared how they all gathered to search the area right after he went missing. They were hopeful but ended up with no leads. It’s heartbreaking for them, and they just want closure.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Pebworth has also renewed the appeal for information. He mentioned that extensive searches have been conducted, including using drones and checking CCTV footage. They’re still following up on any potential sightings.
If anyone has seen Richard or knows anything about his disappearance, they’re urged to contact the police. His family is holding onto hope and won’t stop until they find out what happened.
