Derby: A popular pub near a bustling estate is on the lookout for new operators after shutting down for a year. The Mundy Arms, located on Ashbourne Road in Mackworth, closed its doors following an announcement from the previous licensee in January 2024.
This historic building, which dates back to the 1500s, still catches the eye of passersby today. It has that classic pub vibe, complete with a spacious kitchen and a lovely south-facing beer garden.
According to BB&J Derby, the estate agent handling the lease, the property features a charming dining area with a fully functioning bar. There’s also a separate dining or events room, a well-equipped commercial kitchen with two walk-in freezers, and plenty of storage space.
Plus, it has facilities for gents, ladies, and disabled customers, along with two entrances for easy access. The beer garden at the back is a nice touch, and there’s ample parking for visitors.
