London: So, you won’t believe what just happened to Urfan Sharif, the guy who killed his daughter, Sara. He got attacked in prison, and it sounds pretty wild. Apparently, someone sliced his neck with a tuna can lid. Ouch!

This all went down at HMP Belmarsh on New Year’s Day. The police are on it, trying to figure out what happened. Sharif, who’s 43, is still recovering in the hospital, but thankfully, his injuries aren’t life-threatening.

Just to remind you, this guy was sentenced for the horrific murder of his 10-year-old daughter. She had so many injuries, it was heartbreaking. The prosecutor even said it was the worst case of child abuse they’d ever seen.

He was locked up last month along with his wife and brother-in-law. Sharif got a life sentence, and he’s got to serve at least 40 years. It’s a tough sentence, but after what he did, it’s hard to feel sorry for him.

Now, after this attack, it seems like he had a target on his back. A source mentioned that he was lucky to survive and ended up needing stitches. The guards were trying to keep him safe, but it looks like word got around about who he was.

The Prison Service confirmed they’re looking into the incident, but they’re keeping quiet while the investigation is ongoing. It’s a crazy situation, and it just goes to show how intense things can get in prison.
