A British dad, James Sangwine, has been missing in Thailand for almost two weeks
Bangkok: A British dad has gone missing during his holiday in Thailand. James Sangwine, 33, flew to Bangkok on January 18. He told his partner he was visiting a friend there.
His girlfriend, Katie, 38, last heard from him on January 20. He sent her a message saying he was going to a bar with friends. Katie got worried when he didn’t call on their son’s birthday the next day.
James was supposed to return home on January 24, but he never did. Katie said his phone has been off since January 20. No family members have heard from him either.
Two locals who met him reached out to Katie. They said he was last seen at the Abandoned Mansion Bar and Restaurant. Katie reported him missing to the Royal Thai Police.
She is worried that no investigation is happening. Katie said, “Even if James has passed away, we need to know. Someone must know where he is.”
