A father was sentenced after police discovered a manual and thousands of child abuse images at his home in Pembrokeshire
Milford Haven: A father, Jason Church, was caught with a disturbing manual and a staggering number of child abuse images. The court heard he had a 170-page guide on how to groom and abuse children, which is just horrifying.
During the investigation, police found over 39,000 images and videos of children being abused, some as young as two months old. The judge made it clear that Church posed a serious risk to children.
On August 23, 2023, police executed a search warrant at his home after receiving tips about the indecent material. Church admitted to having the images on his phone, which led to his arrest.
The prosecutor revealed that the manual included sickening advice on how to target vulnerable single mothers. It’s just mind-boggling how someone could think like that.
Church, who had no prior convictions, pleaded guilty to multiple counts of possessing indecent images and the manual. His lawyer mentioned that he had been struggling with depression and alcohol issues, but that doesn’t excuse his actions.
In the end, the judge sentenced him to 22 months in prison, with half of that time to be served in custody. He’ll also be on the sex offender registry for ten years. It’s a tough reminder of the dangers that exist and the importance of protecting children.
