Pembrokeshire: So, the council’s been having a bit of a rough time with waste collections lately. They just updated everyone about the missed pickups. Apparently, it’s all down to some vehicle breakdowns and a bunch of staff being out sick.

They’re planning to pick up the leftover waste today, so if you can, hold onto your rubbish until the next scheduled collection. The council even posted on Facebook about the situation, saying they’re really sorry for the hassle.

Cllr Thomas Baden Tudor, who represents the Castle Ward, has been thanking folks for their patience. He mentioned that the issues are mainly due to the vehicles not being available and a spike in staff absences. So, if you can, just keep your waste in until they can get it sorted. They really appreciate everyone’s understanding during this mess.
