A vibrant community event in North Wales brought smiles and laughter as participants bounced along the beach for a good cause
Trearddur Bay: While some folks were nursing hangovers on New Year’s Day, a lively crowd in North Wales was gearing up for a space hopper race. It’s become a fun tradition, and this year, the turnout was amazing!
People of all ages bounced along the beach, creating a hilarious scene. Kids and adults alike were having a blast, and it was clear that many hadn’t trained at all. Some were pros, while others just wanted to bump into their friends.
The vibe was electric! Pauline Hardman, one of the organizers and a dedicated RNLI volunteer, couldn’t have been happier. She said it was heartwarming to see everyone come together for such an important cause.
“We’re thrilled with the support today,” she shared. “It’s wonderful to see the community having fun while helping us keep our lifeboats ready for action.”
Despite the weather, the event was colorful and full of life. Heron Maj, who helped set it up, said, “This is what community spirit is all about. The laughter and joy, knowing every bounce helps our lifeboat station, is just incredible.”
Even with a shaky start due to the weather, it turned out to be a perfect day for bouncing and bonding!
