Coleraine coastguard is inviting volunteers to join their team with an open night next week
Coleraine: The coastguard is on the lookout for new volunteers to join their team. They’re hosting an open night next week to share more about the role.
If you’re interested, they’ll provide full training to help you become a Coastguard Rescue Officer. You’ll be ready to jump into action any time, day or night, no matter the weather.
The open night is happening at the Coastguard Station on Gateside Road on January 16. It’s a great chance to learn what it takes to be part of this important work.
A spokesperson mentioned they’re looking for people who can search, rescue, and save lives. You don’t need any prior experience, but if you’ve spent time outdoors or near the coast, that’s a plus.
To apply, you’ll need a full UK driver’s license and good health. Plus, you should live or work within 15 minutes of the station and be available for callouts and training.
