The iconic Coca-Cola truck will be in Cardiff this weekend, bringing festive cheer and supporting a good cause with every visit
Cardiff: This weekend, Wales is gearing up for some festive fun as the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck rolls into town. It’s all happening on Sunday, December 22, and folks are excited!
The truck will be parked at the Hayes, right outside St David’s Centre, from noon until 8 PM. Visitors can grab a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, pick up some exclusive merch, and snap that perfect holiday photo in front of the big red truck.
This year, the tour is all about spreading kindness. With the theme “The World Needs More Santas,” Coca-Cola is encouraging everyone to channel their inner Santa and share some holiday cheer with others.
In past years, people have flocked to see the truck, taking selfies and enjoying the festive atmosphere. It’s a great way to bring friends and family together while also supporting a good cause. This year, the tour is partnering with FareShare, the UK’s largest charity tackling hunger and food waste.
And guess what? For every person who visits the truck, Coca-Cola will donate the equivalent of a meal to FareShare. They’re aiming to donate up to a million meals this holiday season!
Kirsty Ford from FareShare expressed gratitude for Coca-Cola’s support, saying it helps get good food to those in need. It’s all about strengthening communities and making sure no one goes hungry, especially during tough times.
Florence Wheatley from Coca-Cola Great Britain added that the truck has become a holiday staple, and they’re thrilled to continue their partnership with FareShare. They want everyone who visits to feel the magic of Christmas while knowing they’re helping others.
