A young Celtic fan, Callin Lindsay, passed away. He was only 23 years old. He died in his sleep at home in Bo’Ness on February 1st.

His girlfriend, Caitlin Addison, is 25. She tried CPR, but it was too late. Police are investigating his death and currently consider it unexplained.

Callin’s mother, Leeann Lindsay, is devastated and called him her “handsome boy.” She said he was always laughing and smiling. Leeann is 39 and from Camelon.

Leeann told the Record that Callin went to sleep and simply didn’t wake up. Caitlin tried to save him with CPR, and Leeann is grateful for her efforts.

Leeann said Callin was popular and had a heart of gold. He helped her as a single parent and loved his younger brother, Kaiden, very much. They were close, and Kaiden is hurting.

Callin often went to Celtic games when he was younger and also supported Falkirk FC. He went to many of their matches, too. He was always smiling and joking around, was a peacemaker, and had many friends.

His uncle Billy also shared a tribute, calling Callin his “special nephew.” He will struggle without Callin, and the emptiness in his heart is immense. He feels truly heartbroken and loved spending time with Callin.

Billy appreciates all the family’s support, as people have asked how they are doing. This support truly means the world to them, and a fundraiser helps the close family.

Police Scotland responded to a report on February 1st concerning a sudden death in Bo’ness. Emergency services arrived at Waggon Road and found Callin, age 23, deceased. Authorities are investigating the circumstances but do not suspect foul play at this time.
