Cannock: So, there was this incident at Poundland where a pickpocket swiped a purse from an older lady. It happened on December 3rd, right in the town center.

The poor woman, in her 70s, had just taken out about £450 from a cashpoint. She put it in her purse and went into the store, but that’s when the thief struck around 11:30 AM.

Now, the police are asking for help. They’ve released a CCTV image of a woman they want to talk to about the theft. She’s described as white, wearing a beige beanie, a long black coat, and a cream jumper.

She also had black trousers and shoes, plus a brown scarf over her coat. The police are really hoping someone might recognize her. They said, “If you know who she is, please get in touch.”

They’ve provided a contact number and even mentioned that you can call Crimestoppers if you want to stay anonymous. It’s a shame that people can be so low, isn’t it?
