Cardiff City faced a tough match as a defender struggled and substitutes failed to make an impact, leading to disappointing player ratings.
Andy Rinomhota was solid at right-back, showing both strength and smart play. He pushed forward when he could, which was nice to see. Dimitrios Goutas kept things simple and did well in the air, so he wasn’t at fault for any goals.
Calum Chambers had a tough time against Moore but held his own. Jesper Daland, on the other hand, had a rough outing. He struggled with Moore and gave the ball away, which led to a goal. Definitely a game to forget for him.
Joel Bagan did a decent job keeping Jesurun Rak-Sakyi quiet, though he didn’t get much involved in the attack. Manolis Siopis was a nuisance for the opposing midfielders, but he was a bit careless with the ball at times.
Alex Robertson didn’t get the chance to shine, and he looked tired later in the game. Anwar El Ghazi tried to be a focal point for the attack but couldn’t create many chances. Yakou Meite worked hard, winning headers and doing his job.
Chris Willock was the standout player, showing real promise and creativity until he had to come off with an injury just after half-time. The substitutes didn’t really change the game, with Rubin Colwill struggling to make an impact and Callum Robinson lacking a platform to play from. Cian Ashford and Ronan Kpakio had brief moments but couldn’t turn the tide. It was a tough day for Cardiff City.
