Two friends recount a terrifying experience of being attacked by a gang in Bury, leaving them injured and shaken.
Bury: So, two friends, Mac and Daniel, had a really rough night out. They were just walking home after catching the Tyson Fury fight when a gang of teens attacked them. Can you believe that?
Mac, who’s 28, said it felt like he was getting kicked from every angle. Ouch! He ended up with some serious bruises and had to go to the hospital for a CT scan. Thankfully, nothing too serious came up.
It all went down around 4 a.m. on Broad Street. They were just minding their own business when suddenly, a group of seven or eight thugs started circling them. Talk about a nightmare!
Mac described how he ended up on the ground, trying to protect himself. He said he was curled up in a ball, just taking hits. Luckily, the police showed up pretty quickly.
He ended up with a massive black eye and had to get his eyebrow glued. Poor guy! He’s been stuck in bed since, feeling pretty rough and not wanting to leave the house.
Daniel, who’s 31, was with him and said it was totally unprovoked. They were just walking to the bus station when they heard a ruckus behind them. Then, bam! The gang came charging at them.
Daniel mentioned that one of the attackers even said something about getting kicked out of college. Can you imagine? He got some injuries too but didn’t need to go to the hospital.
Both of them are just shaken up by the whole experience. It’s scary to think about how quickly things can turn violent for no reason at all.
