A burglar in a big coat was caught lingering in Liversedge after waking the homeowners
Liversedge: So, there was this burglar, right? He was spotted wearing a big coat and got caught after waking up the homeowners. Talk about bad luck!
This all went down in the early hours of December 27 at a house on Rydale Court. The police said it happened just before 2:40 AM. The homeowners were jolted awake by their alarm and found the place had been broken into, but the thief didn’t take anything.
It gets even weirder. The police think one of the suspects was hanging out in the driveway by the car at around 3:01 AM, still in that big coat. Can you imagine? Just standing there!
The police are really hoping someone saw something. They want to hear from anyone who might have information or even CCTV footage that could help them out. If you know anything, you can reach out to the Kirklees District Crime Team.
