Surrey: So, there were these two brothers, right? They were up to no good, stealing high-end cars and golf clubs. The police caught them after spotting them in an alley with a bag of stolen golf gear. It all kicked off when two Audis were taken from a driveway in Cobham back in June 2024.

A month later, one of the stolen Audis was being chased by the cops but crashed. The Casey brothers jumped out and ran off. Fast forward four months, and the police found another stolen car, a Jaguar, in Guildford. While checking things out, they saw the brothers again, this time with golf clubs that looked a bit too fancy for them.

The officers chased them down and caught them. They even searched a nearby place and found loads of stolen golf stuff. Turns out, the brothers were linked to several thefts, including the Jaguar and the two Audis from Cobham.

Jonathan Casey, the older brother, got three years and two months in prison for his role in all this. His brother Timmy received two years and eight months. They both admitted to their crimes earlier, so no surprises there.

Inspector Lucy Marriott from the local police said they were on the brothers’ trail after the Audi chase. Even though they got away that time, the police kept looking for them. Finally, they caught them with the stolen golf clubs, and it all came together from there. She emphasized that they’re serious about tackling vehicle crime and making sure the bad guys face the music.
