In a shocking incident, thieves stole a Mercedes GLC from a driveway in Armadale, loading it onto a flatbed truck in broad daylight
Armadale: Can you believe it? Thieves actually stole a Mercedes right from someone’s driveway! It happened in West Lothian, and it was around 6 PM on a Wednesday.
The car was a white Mercedes GLC 250D, and it had a registration number MK16 UAV. Apparently, they used some keyless tech to drive it right onto a flatbed truck.
Witnesses saw a white Ford flatbed truck with two black stripes on the bonnet in the area. It didn’t even have any registration plates! Two guys in hi-viz jackets were spotted nearby, too.
Police are really hoping someone saw something. They want folks to check their CCTV or dash-cam footage from that evening. It was busy with traffic, so someone might have noticed something odd.
