This discovery happened near Intake Lane in Beal, close to Eggborough and Knottingley, on January 6. The police are really hoping someone can help them figure out who this man is.
They described him as a white male, likely in his 50s or 60s, with short light brown hair and some stubble. He was wearing brown walking boots, blue jeans, a brown belt, and a colorful hooded jumper.
There’s a chance he also had on a dark green waterproof coat. Authorities think he might have entered the water just a day or two before he was found.
A police spokesperson mentioned that despite their efforts, including working with other police departments, they haven’t been able to identify him. He was found without any ID or personal items.
