A body has been found in Plymouth during the search for Lacey Lake, who vanished after taking a taxi last Friday
Plymouth: So, there’s some really sad news coming out of Plymouth. A body was found while searching for a young woman named Lacey Lake. She was just 24 and was last seen getting into a taxi last Friday.
Apparently, she was in a grey Mercedes, and then her location services just turned off. It’s like she vanished into thin air. The police reported that they found the body in north Plymouth today, but they haven’t confirmed who it is yet.
They’re treating the death as “unexplained,” but they don’t think anything suspicious happened. It’s just heartbreaking. Lacey’s family has been informed, and they’re waiting for formal identification.
Before she went missing, a friend even posted on Facebook asking for help, especially since Lacey is a Type 1 diabetic and didn’t have her insulin with her. That made the whole situation even more urgent.
It’s also strange that her phone was still on, but the location services were off. It’s all just so unsettling. Let’s hope they get some answers soon.
