A Birmingham man is one of three arrested after a gang stole a BMW in Acton Trussell
Birmingham: So, there was this wild incident over the weekend. A gang smashed a window to grab a BMW in Acton Trussell. It all went down around 1:35 AM on Sunday.
A local saw the whole thing and called the cops. The guys broke into a house, grabbed the keys to a BMW X2, and took off in it. Talk about bold!
Police were quick to respond and soon spotted the stolen car on Holdiford Road in Stafford. One of the guys tried to make a run for it but didn’t get far. The car was stopped pretty quickly.
When the officers searched the trio, they found a knife. Turns out, they arrested three people, including a 28-year-old from Birmingham. The others were a 31-year-old from Shropshire and a 28-year-old woman from Telford.
All three were questioned and then released on bail while the investigation continues. The police are really cracking down on vehicle thefts and are working with other forces to catch these criminals.
