A serious crash has shut down Bilston Road, causing major disruptions for commuters in Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton: So, there was a big crash on Bilston Road last night. It’s closed in both directions from Stowheath Lane to Cable Street. Not great for anyone trying to get through.
West Midlands Metro tweeted about it at 3:18 AM, letting folks know that trams wouldn’t be running between Priestfield and Wolverhampton. That’s a bummer for early commuters.

Traffic is pretty heavy in the area because of the closure. If you’re a tram passenger, you can use your ticket on the 79 bus or West Midlands Railway trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
