London: Fans of the BBC show The Traitors are buzzing after a recent episode. The host, Ed Gamble, declared the latest mission his favorite, but viewers weren’t having it.

In the latest episode, there were plenty of tears and some tense moments. No one got “murdered,” but there was a failed recruitment and a dramatic banishment at the Round Table.

On the companion podcast, Traitors Uncloaked, Ed, along with former contestant Diane and comedian Nish Kumar, chatted about the episode and the mission.

Contestants had to work in pairs and navigate through circus-themed doors. If they picked the right door, they could earn cash for the prize pot. The first duo to make it through even got shields!

But if they chose wrong, they faced a creepy clown that would pop their balloon and eliminate them from the mission. Ed was all about the clown, saying it was his favorite mission, but fans disagreed.

Social media lit up with reactions. One fan joked about the “local carnival budget” of the mission, while others wondered if the show had run out of ideas.

Another viewer suggested it would have been more fun if it had a Takeshi’s Castle vibe. Some fans were frustrated with how contestants described patterns instead of just numbering the doors. They thought it could have been more straightforward.

The Traitors continues tomorrow at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer, followed by The Traitors Uncloaked on BBC Two at 10pm.
