Police responded to reports of a dangerously driven Audi in Hanley, leading to an arrest for suspected drink-driving
Hanley: So, there was this wild scene in Hanley where police got called out because an Audi was driving all over the place on a slippery street. They found the car off the road and took a guy into custody.
This all went down around 10:35 PM last night. The officers who showed up on Boundary Street discovered that the Audi A6 wasn’t even insured. Talk about a bad night!
They also gave the driver a breath test right there. Turns out, a 32-year-old guy from Stoke-on-Trent got arrested for suspected drink-driving. He’s still in custody today.
With the freezing temperatures still hanging around, police are reminding everyone to be super careful on the roads. They’re really cracking down on anyone who’s putting themselves or others at risk.
A police spokesperson said they’re on the lookout for drivers under the influence, especially with the cold weather making things tricky. They want everyone to stay safe out there!
