Pembrokeshire: Folks are really upset about the mess at Withybush Retail Park. It’s been a real eyesore with litter just piling up everywhere.

During the holiday season, you could see Costa cups, food wrappers, and all sorts of rubbish just lying around the bins. It was a total mess.

One local was shocked to find the same litter still there on December 30. Can you believe it? Cups were even stacked on top of the bins!

Andy Morgan, who was shopping with his wife, couldn’t believe his eyes. He said it was disgusting to see food, cigarette butts, and beer cans all over the ground.

He mentioned that it looked like a week’s worth of rubbish, not just a day’s. It’s not just ugly; it could attract rats too. He’s lived in Haverfordwest all his life and hates seeing it like this.

Another local, who’s been in Pembrokeshire for over a decade, agreed. She was shocked when she saw the state of the retail park, especially after thinking it was just a holiday mess.

When she returned, the rubbish was still there. She wondered what that says about us as a nation. It was almost a health hazard with leftover food and cups lying around.

She felt it was a shame that no one had done anything about it, especially with big retailers like M&S and Home Bargain nearby. It’s a tough situation; the council should step up, but so should the locals.

Pembrokeshire County Councillor Thomas Baden Tudor urged people to take responsibility. He said if the bin is full, take your rubbish home or find another bin.

Withybush Retail Park is owned by Realty Income Corporation, and they’ve been asked for a comment on the situation.
