Last week, around 20 decapitated birds, including gulls and seabirds, were found scattered on an industrial estate. People are just baffled about what could have happened to them.
One local, who didn’t want to give their name, told the Alloa Advertiser they’ve never seen anything like it. They said, “In over seven years living here, I’ve never witnessed anything so strange.”
Usually, you might find a dead bird here and there, but this was a whole different level. It’s like some weird ritual or something. Very odd, right?
Scottish Government officials even came to take samples from the birds to check for bird flu. They mentioned that results could take up to two weeks. So, we’re all left waiting and wondering.
