Aldi is introducing a two-bottle limit on its Crémant De Loire due to overwhelming demand and a significant price drop ahead of New Year’s Eve.
London: Aldi is rolling out a two-bottle limit on its Crémant De Loire sparkling wine. This comes as they prepare to cut the price nearly in half.
The Specially Selected Crémant De Loire is part of Aldi’s new Autumn/Winter lineup. It’s been getting rave reviews for its delicious flavors, like creamy honey and fruity notes.
Just in time for New Year’s Eve, Aldi will drop the price from £8.99 to just £4.99 starting December 27. That’s a £4 savings!
From December 27 to December 31, you can snag this sparkling wine at the lower price. Wine critic Jane MacQuitty even called it “the slashed-price steal of the season.”
With such a big price cut, Aldi is expecting a rush for the Crémant De Loire. To manage the demand, they’re limiting purchases to two bottles per person.
Julie Ashfield, Aldi UK’s Managing Director of Buying, mentioned they want everyone to enjoy quality wine without overspending this festive season.
She added that by lowering the price and setting a limit, they’re making sure more customers can enjoy this fantastic sparkling wine.
If you can’t wait until the 27th, Aldi has already slashed prices on over 60 bottles in its Specially Selected wine range by 25%, available until New Year’s Eve.
So, mark your calendars! The Crémant De Loire will be just £4.99 from December 27 to December 31, 2024.
