Cornwall: A serious crash happened on the A30 this afternoon. Two vehicles, including a bus, were involved. The collision occurred between the A395 Kennards House and the A389 Bodmin. Emergency services are currently on the scene, and the A30 is closed westbound.

The crash was reported around 4:30 PM today. Traffic monitor Inrix noted that delays are building as rush hour begins. National Highways has labeled the incident as serious, confirming the westbound closure between the A395 and A389.

Motorists should prepare for delays and queues in the area. National Highways is directing drivers around the closure using the A395 and A388. Follow the solid square diversion symbol for guidance.

To divert westbound, exit the A30 at the A395 junction. Then, return eastbound towards Launceston. Exit at the A388 junction and head south on the A388 towards Saltash. At Carkeel Roundabout, turn right onto the A38 westbound.

Continue on the A38 past Liskeard towards Bodmin. Finally, rejoin the A34 westbound at Bodmin just after Turfdown Roundabout. For more updates, check our live blog on the website.
