Lincolnshire: The A180 is set for some closures starting next week. They’re doing concrete surface repairs, so expect some delays.

National Highways is on it, working to keep the road safe for the next five years. They’re not just fixing the concrete; they’re also refreshing road markings and studs.

From January 13 to January 24, the westbound side will be closed overnight from 8 PM to 6 AM. Then, from January 27 until the end of February, the eastbound side will follow suit. During the day, there’ll be a single lane closure to let the concrete set.

Keep in mind, these dates might change if the weather doesn’t cooperate. They’ll have diversions clearly marked during the full closures.

National Highways is asking drivers to stick to the signed diversions and not to rely on their satnavs. Also, there’s a weight limit of 7.5 tonnes for vehicles passing through Ulceby and nearby villages, unless they’re loading or unloading.
