Grimsby: So, there was this 17-year-old kid who got stuck in some pretty deep floodwater. It was a wild night after all that rain, and firefighters had to jump in to help him out.

It all went down around 10 PM on Monday. The Humberside Fire and Rescue team got the call and rushed over to St Nicholas Drive. The poor guy was just stuck there, knee-deep in water.

They brought in some special gear to get him out safely. After they rescued him, they even gave him first aid before sending him home to his family. Talk about a close call!

That night, about 100 homes in Lincolnshire were affected by flooding, and there were warnings all over the place for northern Lincolnshire. It was no joke.

A spokesperson from the fire department said they got the call at 10:15 PM and were on the scene in no time. They found the boy stuck and quickly got him out.

They used a rescue sled and dry suits to make sure he was safe. They even wrapped him in a thermal blanket to keep him warm. Just goes to show how important it is to be prepared for these kinds of situations!
